We are pleased to announce Steve Cook as our new Tennis Center Executive Director! His decades of experience in tennis and extensive background developing youth tennis programs will be an invaluable asset to Greater Midland.

Steve has most recently served at the Kroc Center as Executive Director and previous as the Director of Tennis at the same South Carolina facility. His transformation leadership abilities have helped name the center as USTA-South Carolina Facility of the Year (2015) and a USTA National Facility of the YEAR (2014). In addition, Steve's experience led the Kroc Tennis Center to double membership in the last five years and maintain over 200 active leagues. Steve also has substantial experience developing youth athletes at both the competitive and recreational level. He is a strong believer in youth development as the core of all youth sports.

Steve joined the US Professional Tennis Association in 1980 and holds a marketing degree from The University of West Florida where he played collegiate tennis. He has also served as head coach of a NCAA collegiate team and as a teaching professional at tennis clubs across Florida and North Carolina.
