Early Care & Education

Our high-quality program serves children 6-weeks through kindergarten readiness. Our program implements the evidence-based HighScope curriculum and uses a relationship based approach to create a sense of belonging for every child. Learn More

Wellness Membership

North Family Center offers a well-equipped fitness area and a variety of membership options. Membership includes quality equipment, supportive atmosphere and the ability to come in as often and for as long as you wish during operating hours.

Fitness Classes

Functional Fitness classes are held Mondays 9-9:55 am and Thursdays 1-1:55 pm. These classes are designed for older adults and are adaptable to all fitness levels.

Gym & Cafeteria Rentals

Host your next event or sports practice at our facility! A Full Dining Room and Gymnasium are available at an hourly rate or purchase a birthday party package for access to the Bounce House! More details on pricing can be found below under RENTAL PRICING.

Senior Resources

Seniors meet in our dining room every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm for lunch, games, activities, and socializing with fellow peers. Visit Senior Services Website or the Mills Center Website for more information!

EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION

Our STAR rated and licensed Early Care & Education program is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment that encourages every child to develop meaningful connections and to grow and learn through play and exploration.

Our qualified staff are dedicated to meeting each child’s individual needs. Each age group participates in an enriching daily routine and carefully planned activities designed to promote healthy physical, social/emotional and cognitive development.

Explore Resources

Community Clothing Closet and Community Library: These resources are free and open to the public during our business hours. If you have clothing, shoes, books, or household items you would like to donate, please drop them off at the front desk during our business hours.

Food & Hygiene Pantry: We are one of eight pantry sites in the Midland County Food Assistance Network (MCFAN). To make an appointment to receive assistance with food and hygiene, please call MCFAN’s client coordinator at 989.486.9393.

Diaper Pantry: Thanks to our partnership with the Diaper Alliance, residents of Midland County may receive diapers, wipes, and diaper cream from our facility once every 30 days. We offer sizes newborn through 5T. A limited number of adult diapers are also available.

Mobile Food Distributions: We hold monthly giveaways of groceries from the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Food is distributed in our parking lot in a drive through fashion. There are no qualifications. Pre-registration is required. Please call 989.689.7770 for more information.

Grocery Donations: Our facility also distributes donations of bread, produce, and other grocery items from local organizations. No registration is required. Please follow us on Facebook to receive notifications when items are available.

MI Bridges Navigation: Need help navigating the MI Bridges website, managing your account, applying for benefits, or locating community resources? Please call 989.689.7770 for an appointment.
